What is IHSS?
In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) is a California program that provides daily activity assistance so people can remain safely at home rather than moving to an institutional setting. We help individuals navigate the IHSS application process and coordinate ongoing services.
What We Provide
- IHSS application assistance and coordination
- In-home personal care and domestic support
- Structured day program activities
- Social skills and community engagement
- Life skills workshops and group learning
- Recreational activities and outings
Walk-In Day Programs
Our walk-in day programs offer structured activities, socialization opportunities, and skill-building in a supportive group environment. Programs are designed to complement in-home services by providing additional social interaction and learning experiences.
Activities include arts and crafts, cooking classes, community outings, exercise programs, and educational workshops — all designed to promote personal growth and community participation.
Coordinated Care
We work with IHSS county offices, Regional Center coordinators, and families to ensure seamless coordination between all services an individual receives. Our goal is to create a comprehensive support network that addresses every aspect of independent living.
Serving El Dorado County
Our IHSS coordination and day program services are available to adults with developmental disabilities throughout Placerville, Cameron Park, Shingle Springs, Diamond Springs, El Dorado Hills, and all of El Dorado County, California. As a vendored provider with Alta California Regional Center, services are funded through the California Department of Developmental Services — at no cost to individuals or families.
If you or a family member currently receives IHSS or is interested in learning about eligibility, our team can guide you through the process and help connect all the pieces of your support plan.
